Finally I took the time to take one more art class from Connie Andrews. It was so much fun and interesting! Connie is so good at inspiring us students. It was the first time I've worked with a medium that looked and felt like marshmallow! It is so interesting to see all the different stiles people use when creating. Here is my piece of art of today.

While coughing through the day and not getting anything done.... I came up with an idea to make the dogs play! I took some fleece fabric, cut three stripes, 4 " x 60", and then braided them. A knot at each end and done! Easy project and nice gift for dogs. I have made extras for Mickey and Cosmo, Neo's friends.

The reception was this evening and it was a lot of fun, even though none of the ones I had invited came. All the artists except one were there. Connie had brought a lot of good food and cake. Anne's husband Rick was acting as bartender, and did a good job! It was fun talking to him, he has Swedish roots in Lammhult, Smaland. Maybe he and Anne will visit Sweden when we are there during one summer.
Peter, Simon and Alex came. Alex enjoyed the food, Simon was mostly interested in the prices of the art.
All in all, it was a great evening and I am very happy to be a part of it.

Oops
One thing is sure, I have to read through what I have written before posting...... Sorry, about that. But I hope you can guess what I am trying to say. OK?
Life is good
How wonderful it is when feeling happy! I feel extra happy and excited today, full of energy and life feels just good. I am part of an Artist Showing next month at M.Coffee in Half Moon Bay. It is "my" wonderful art teacher Connie Andrews, who so generously invited a couple of amateurs to show their artwork. I am so much looking forward to this. When I have picked up my items from framing I will show them here.
I have been buying stuff for Moa today. She has to have her own bed, collar and toys. My friend Betsy will get dog food for her.
Life is just good and I feel like I have taken care of this day.
Off to clean Freeway's and Pepper's cage, my rats.

Language
Since most of my family and friends can speak and read English I will mostly use this language. But occasionally I will switch to Swedish. Sometimes it is difficult to express myself in a foreign language. We'll see how it goes.
Right now I am very excited about the new puppy we are bringing home on Friday. Her name is Moa, a Swedish name, and she is a Golden Retriever. We hope Neo will be a good older brother to her. Neo is our current dog, also a Golden Retriever, 2 years old.
